Nonlinearities in the motion of the Galactic masers
Abstract
Parameters of the Galactic rotation were estimated using sample of 114 Galactic masers with known trigonometric VLBI parallaxes. For adopted Solar galactocentric distance R0 = 8.3±0.2 kpc the values of the Oort constants are estimated as A = -16.51±0.34 km c^-1 kpc^-1 and B = 12.75±0.49 km c^-1 kpc^-1, linear velocity of the galactic rotation at the Solar distance is equal to V0 = 243 ± 6 km c^-1. Analysis of three-dimensional kinematics of these masers shows that in addition to derivatives of higher orders in the Galactic rotation curve, which manifest themselves in the xy-plane, the periodic perturbations in all three planes play a significant role, what is connected with the influence of the Galactic spiral density wave.
