Shadowing along subsequences for continuous mappings

Abstract

We prove a result on presence of a «partial» shadowing for the most general form of mappings. We demonstrate that for any mapping of a metric compact set into itself and any sufficiently precise pseudotrajectory there exists an infinite subsequence of an exact trajectory, approximating pointwise the subsequence of the considered pseudotrajectory with the same indices.
