Forced oscillation of an unbalanced rotor in nonisotropic bearings
Abstract
An influence of bearings anisotropy on forced oscillation of an unbalanced rotor with four degrees of freedom was considered. Two cases of the rotor mounting on the rigid shaft and on the flexible one were thoroughly examinated. The differential equations of the rotor rotation were obtained in complex variables. The exact solution of the system was found. Appearance of the additional critical frequencies especially in the bottom part of the spectrum was shown. The dynamic responses and the elliptical trajectories of the shaft’s ends were obtained It was also shown that the direct and reverse whirling motion could be realized. Refs 7. Figs 6.
